Run through the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Starting at Mt Rushmore or Crazy Horse Memorial along the Mickelson Trail, and finishing in downtown Hill City.
REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS: You must register online using a valid PROMO CODE between April 1 and October 1 to receive the registration discount.
CHAMPION CHIP TIMING: Timing services will be provided by AllSportCentral. Each participant will be given a pre-assigned a chip at packet pickup. Relay teams will pass chip ankle to ankle between participants during the race in the relay exchange zones just after crossing the mats at each split point.
PACKET PICKUP & EXPO: Pickup your packets, chips, and event information on event weekend open Thursday evening and Friday. Visit expo booths with local, regional, and national businesses.
TRAVEL & ACCOMODATIONS: Travel discounts are available for participants. Check the event website for details.
PROCEEDS: A portion of the proceeds to benefit the Official Event Charities. This year 25% of cash sponsorship donations and 100% of online donations will go directly to one of the Official Event Charities. See Reasons to Run on event website for additional details.
REFUND POLICY: There are no refunds, but you can contact us to transfer your registration to next year's event. See event website for details.

Hey kids This course will be fast. We will start just South of the Burnt Fork Rd & Deerfield Road intersection on the Mickelson Trail. We want some burners to blaze this new course so much that we added prize and bonus money. Check out the awards page on the event site for details. Participants for this race with receive a cotton long-sleeve event shirt. Start will be seeded by pace. Walkers are also welcome and will start just after the runners. |
